Ever curious about what it takes to capture those fantastic images of the Northern Lights?

Recently CTV News Edmonton conducted a Special Assignment piece about Zoltan Kenwell (our friendly neighbourhood photo expert) and the Northern Lights.

The piece covered, among other things, how Zoltan uses AuroraWatch to help him decide whether or not to venture out taking photographs and had a description from our very own Dr Ian Mann on how the carisma network (the magnetometer network used to power AuroraWatch) is involved. The article then accompanied Zoltan on a nights photo-shoot into the cold and dark!
