The AuroraWatch service offers two levels of warning which you may subscribe to:- 

  • Red alerts are issued when there is more than a ~70% probability of auroral displays occurring.
  • Yellow alerts provide the same information as red alerts, but include notices of smaller events with a probability of ~50% and up.

Note: We issue the alerts as they are determined from our magnetometer data. The forecasting range will vary and emails may be sent until ~5am.

Alternative unsubscribe from AuroraWatch alerts?
