Jonathan Chimko was in the right place at the right time on March 16 and 17th. He managed to capture these great pictures from Elk Island National Park, just east of Edmonton. This is his first attempt at photographing the Aurora. These pictures were taken early on March 16, 2012, between 01:30 and 02:30.
